What does it track?
  • Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV), at the core of stress detection.
  • Resting heart rate.
  • Skin temperature compared with your own baseline.
  • Sleep duration, timing, and disruptions.
  • Movement and activity.
  • Daytime stress episodes: when they start and how intense they are.
How long does the battery last?
Our target is 4–6 days per charge. Battery life is still being validated and will vary with use.
Which phones will it work with?
iPhone at launch. Android soon after.
How do voice memos work?
Double-tap the bracelet and tell Nila what happened. Your memos give your body’s signals personal context, helping Nila understand your day over time. Voice is available at launch.
Is the microphone always listening?
No. Double-tap to start a voice memo. The microphone only listens when you activate it.
Is Vitul a medical device?
No. Vitul is a wellness product designed to help you understand your stress, recovery, and sleep. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor. If something looks concerning, Nila will tell you to talk to a clinician.
How will my data help improve Vitul?
Our plan for launch: aggregated, de-identified wellness data will help improve our own algorithms and AI models, with no separate opt-out for that aggregate use. Raw sensor streams and conversations are excluded from this default dataset. AI providers will not be permitted to train their own models on your voice or health data, and we will never sell it.
What will I control in the Ledger?
Three controls. All off by default. Change them anytime.
  • Help improve Vitul. Opt in to raw sensor contributions or human review of selected conversations for improvement.
  • Allow research invitations. Hear about studies. Joining one is a separate choice.
  • Keep audio archive. Save voice recordings for playback. This does not allow human review or model improvement.
We’ll ask once during onboarding. These controls are planned for the launch app.
